The Freshsales integration with SurveySparrow lets you incorporate survey sharing and feedback collection into your sales CRM software. Capture leads, track and manage survey responses, and enrich interactions with existing and potential customers.

For instance, let’s say you are interacting with a lead. With this integration, you can put a sales sequence in place, and gauge your lead for feedback, at every touchpoint of the Sales Cycle. After a significant interaction or appointment, you can send an email via Freshsales to this lead for their feedback. Once they submit the survey, the responses can be tracked back to your Freshsales account. Not only does this improve your overall relationship with your lead, but it also allows you to efficiently manage all interactions in one single platform!

Let’s see how it works:

  1. After creating your survey, create a custom variable. This variable will be used to pass the ID of the Freshsales contact.

Here’s an example:

In this case, the custom variable is called “contactID”.

2. So when you’re sharing your survey via email to an existing/potential customer, you can include the lead/contact ID in your survey URL.

To send an email, click on the plus(+) icon on your dashboard, and select ‘Send Email’.

3. Paste the survey URL in the email, and add your custom variable key and value to the end of the URL.

Here’s an example:

In this case, the custom variable is contactID and the placeholder is {{contact.id}}

Your customer’s contact ID will be displayed in the survey URL(please refer to the image below).

Tracking survey responses back to Freshsales

Here’s how it works:

  1. Add a custom field for your contact. You can do this by going to Contacts > Add columns > Add field.

2. Select a field type and give an appropriate name to your custom field.

In this case, the custom field is ‘ssrating’.

3. Click on Save.

You can see your custom field listed under Basic Information of the Contacts Module.

4. Create a webhook in SurveySparrow. You can do this by going to Integrate > Webhooks > Add New Webhook

5. So now, once your contact submits a survey, the custom field value will appear in the contact’s details.

6. And you’re good to go!
